Billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates reportedly expressed his admiration for former President Trump during a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, following a meal they shared, stating he was “impressed” by him.

Gates stated that the dinner conversation, which included Susie Wiles, the incoming White House chief of staff, was on innovation in global health.

“I had a chance, about two weeks ago, to go have a long and actually quite intriguing dinner with him,” Gates noted in a new interview.

Trump allegedly became “quite enthusiastic” during discussions regarding the potential development of a treatment for HIV and strategies for polio abatement.

“He, in the Covid days, accelerated the vaccine innovation. So I was asking him if maybe the same kind of thing could be done here, and we both got, I think, pretty excited about that.” Gates continued.

“He was fascinated to hear what he could do to maximize the chance that during the next four years that incredible milestone will be achieved,” he added.

The globalist Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has efforts addressing these areas.

The meeting occurs shortly after Trump said on X that Gates sought to join him at his Florida club, Mar-a-Lago.

The billionaire and former president have had multiple meetings previously, despite Gates expressing criticism of the president-elect in the past.

Gates is among several billionaires who have sought to engage with Trump after his electoral triumph. Last month, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos visited with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Amazon contributed $1 million to the president-elect’s inaugural fund, as did Sam Altman of OpenAI and several prominent corporations, including Ford, Google, and Meta.
