An executive order that calls for the deportation of anti-Semitic protesters who broke American law, including students on visas, will reportedly shortly be signed by President Donald Trump.

It calls for the mobilization of all federal resources to combat anti-Semitism as well as moves to deport all foreign students who have joined anti-semitic protests.

Agency heads are instructed to provide recommendations to the Trump administration within 60 days detailing all of the available instruments to combat anti-Semitism, according to a White House paper on the executive order that is anticipated to be signed Wednesday.

The decree was issued in reaction to an increase in anti-Semitic demonstrations after Israeli civilians were raped, killed, and abducted by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

Many of these demonstrations have occurred on college campuses, when students have been seen chanting ethnic cleansing slogans, defending Hamas’ attack, vandalizing property, and erecting camps that have resulted in Jewish students being harassed and intimidated.

In September Trump stated that he was planning to “inform every college president that if you do not end anti-Semitic propaganda, they will lose their accreditation and federal taxpayer support.”

The Anti-Defamation League reports that after the October 7 attack, anti-Semitic incidents on campus have increased by more than 500%.

Congress has taken the lead in looking into and punishing colleges that have failed to stop anti-Semitism on campus and continue to do so.

According to a congressional study on anti-Semitism released in December, some of the nation’s most prestigious universities not only declined to take action against anti-Semitism, but also disciplined Jewish students differently than their opponents.
