Former President Donald Trump early Tuesday reportedly warned that President Joe Biden’s actions on Ukraine might lead to a third World War.
“If you watch and understand the moves being made by Biden on Ukraine, he is systematically, but perhaps unknowingly, pushing us into what could soon be WORLD WAR III. How crazy is that?” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Trump’s remark came after Biden met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday, one day before Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech to the country and less than a week before the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
During his visit, Biden offered $500 million in fresh military aid to Ukraine and stated that more measures on firms attempting to avoid sanctions will be revealed this week.
However, Trump has blamed Biden for the war’s escalation and recently stated that if he were president, he would arrange a cease-fire in Ukraine “within 24 hours.”
Trump accused Biden of escalating the situation by deploying tanks to Ukraine in a different post on the platform.
