Stephen Miller has reportedly emerged as the frontrunner to become President Donald Trump’s next national security adviser, following the nomination of Mike Waltz as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

Axios reporter Marc Caputo highlighted Miller’s reputation for effectively managing the Homeland Security Council, which has been deemed “infinitely more effective” than the National Security Council (NSC).

Sources indicated that Miller’s close collaboration with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is currently serving as the interim national security adviser, could bolster his chances of securing the position.

One official noted that their partnership on immigration issues might make Miller the ideal candidate to redefine the NSA role as one focused on policy rather than an inflated Cabinet position.

Miller has been a prominent figure in Trump’s second administration, frequently defending Trump’s policies and actions.

During a press briefing, he expressed pride in working for a president whose primary concern is the safety and prosperity of American citizens. “This president has literally saved America,” Miller stated, emphasizing his commitment to national security.

The potential appointment of Miller would signify a return to a more policy-driven approach within the national security apparatus, aligning with Trump’s broader agenda.

His past experience in shaping immigration policy and his strong rhetoric in favor of Trump’s agenda position him as a key player in the administration.

As discussions about national security continue to unfold, Miller’s anticipated role could influence the direction of U.S. foreign policy and domestic security measures.

His candidacy reflects the ongoing evolution of Trump’s team as they navigate complex challenges both at home and abroad.
