In a bold address from Saudi Arabia, President Trump made it clear that defending the United States remains his top priority.

Speaking at the U.S.-Saudi investment forum in Riyadh, he asserted that America would utilize “overwhelming strength” and “devastating force” if necessary to protect its interests.

President Trump criticized past administrations for prioritizing diplomacy over strength, stating, “In recent years, far too many American presidents have been afflicted with the notion that it’s our job to look into the souls of foreign leaders.”

He emphasized the importance of a powerful military, which he believes is now stronger than ever, equipped with the best weapons and missiles available.

His remarks also included a significant policy shift regarding Syria.

After discussions with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Trump announced plans to lift sanctions on Syria, marking a departure from previous U.S. strategies. “Syria has had its share of travesty, war, and killing,” he noted, indicating a desire to restore normal relations for the first time in over a decade.

In addition to addressing regional stability, President Trump extended an olive branch to Iran, offering a new path towards cooperation and prosperity, contrasting it with the destructive choices of its leaders.

He praised the transformative leadership in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the historic investments secured, including a $142 billion defense partnership.

“If responsible nations in this region seize this moment and focus on common interests,” he stated, “all of humanity will witness remarkable progress in the heart of the world.”

Trump’s vision reflects his commitment to a strong America ready to lead on the global stage, ensuring peace through strength.
