Lara Trump, the co-Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the daughter-in-law of former President Trump, reportedly made a threat on Friday to prosecute anyone who cheats in the upcoming November election, stating, “We will track you down.”
Thousands of “election integrity” watchdogs have been mobilized by Lara Trump and other RNC officials to monitor every step of the election process, establish hotlines for poll watchers to report perceived problems, and escalate those problems through legal action.
In the years since the 2020 presidential election, her father-in-law, Trump, has continued to refuse to recognize the results, resulting in immediate legal battles and future prosecutions.
Additionally, Lara Trump is unwilling to acknowledge her father-in-law’s 2020 defeat.
She asserted that Democrats engaged in “massive fraud” during the 2020 election in an interview with CNN in April, shortly after she assumed the role of RNC chair.
The Party has undergone a transformation following Trump’s overhaul of the RNC, which resulted in the election of Lara Trump and Chair Michael Whatley.
They are strongly advocating for the use of early voting and mail-in ballots, which they opposed during the previous election.
