In a new poll conducted subsequent to the Democratic National Convention, Vice President Harris and former President Trump are currently in a tie.

Harris held a two-point advantage over Trump, who received 27 percent of the vote, according to the Quinnipiac University poll, which indicated that she had 49 percent of the support of likely voters.

The poll indicated that Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, and Chase Oliver, the Libertarian Party candidate, each received one percent of the support.

Harris garnered 49% of the vote in a two-way contest, while Trump received 48%.

The poll revealed that a marginally greater number of Democrats endorse Harris than Republicans endorse Trump.

Harris was endorsed by 98% of Democrats, while Trump was endorsed by 94% of Republicans. Harris and Trump each received 45 percent of the independent respondents, which was a fair distribution.

Quinnipiac also observed a substantial gender disparity, with Harris leading Trump by 21 points among women and Trump leading Harris by 18 points among men.

Between August 23 and August 27, 1,611 likely electors responded to the Quinnipiac University poll, which yielded the results. The poll had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 2.4 percentage points.
