On Sunday, police pushed far-left activists back after they attempted to confront those protesting transgender surgeries for children at Boston Children’s Hospital. Protesters against ‘gender affirming’ transgender surgeries for young children clashed with far-left counter-protesters who supported the extreme procedures.
According to Boston.com a tiny band of only 10 brave patriots went into the heart of one of the bluest and most radically left-wing cities in the country to speak out against the violence being perpetuated against children in the name of gender ideology. And in the process ended up facing off against hundreds of dangerous left-wing protestors who were violently in favor of, what many conservatives believe to be, medically condoned child abuse.
On Sunday morning, Boston police erected metal fencing on both sides of Longwood Avenue, and dozens of officers with helmets and batons were on the scene. Several National Lawyers Guild legal observers were also present. The anti-child abuse protesters arrived first, around 9 a.m., followed by the far-left counter-demonstrators. Both began to disband shortly before 2 p.m.
Journalist Andy Ngo, who has become famous in recent years for his harrowing chronicling of the violent Antifa terrorist movement, posted a video on Twitter Sunday which showed tense confrontation (WARNING: VULGAR LANGUAGE):
In early August, social media accounts, news outlets, and bloggers focused on Boston Children’s after discovering shocking YouTube videos published by the hospital promoting invasive and irreversible surgical options for transgender children. People on social media accused the hospital of performing hysterectomies on children improperly. The hospital later claimed that such a procedure is only performed on those 18 and older as part of its Gender Multispecialty Service, but the response was swift and relentless, with a barrage of users demanding the hospital be closed down and calling the surgeries “mutilation,” “barbarism,” and “child abuse,” while accusing its doctors of malpractice.
One of the videos in question appears to promote “gender affirming hysterectomies” for “transgender” children. The video, which featured obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Frances Grimstad, quickly went viral after being shared by the popular Libs of TikTok Twitter account.
In another video, the hospital claimed that toddlers can detect gender identity. They claimed that refusing haircuts or playing with toys for the opposite gender are signs of a transgender toddler, despite the fact that liberals have long claimed that toys have no gender and have previously fought to end gendered toy aisles in stores.
The hospital, located at 300 Longwood Avenue in Boston, touts itself as ‘home to the first pediatric and adolescent transgender health program in the United States’ and welcome ‘patients’ as young as three years of age
