The wife of the intelligence chief of Ukraine was poisoned in what appeared to be an assassination attempt subsequent to her husband’s drone assault on Russia.
Marianna Budanova, age 30, and other intelligence personnel were reportedly poisoned with “heavy metals”, and have since been admitted to the hospital.
The attempted assassination is promptly attributed to the vile forces of Vladimir Putin, given the Kremlin’s propensity for employing poison.
Subsequent information revealed that additional military intelligence personnel had been tainted and are presently undergoing diagnostic procedures.
Nevertheless, according to Ukrainian sources, it was not determined whether or not the 37-year-old spouse of Marianna, the esteemed spymaster Lt. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, had been poisoned.
Although the precise nature of the poisonings has not been determined at this time, the 30-year-old is reportedly in recovery.
Since the onset of the 22-month conflict, Chief of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (DIU), Lieutenant-Gen Kyrylo Budanov, has oversaw operations to attack Russia with missiles and aerial and maritime drones.
