According to the grant, a professor from Nebraska reportedly received $200,000 from the National Institute of Health (NIH) in June for a program to connect LGBTQ adolescents with LGBTQ adults for “mentoring.”
Lincoln University of Nebraska According to the grant’s description, Professor Katie Edwards is piloting the “Online Mentoring Program to Prevent Adversities Among Trans and Other Gender Minority Youth” program, which was awarded $200,000 by the NIH.
The program intends to pair LGBTQ adolescents with LGBTQ adult mentors allegedly in order to promote “social-emotional skills acquisition.”
According to the grant, the initiative intends to recruit 140 LGBTQ youth from social media and LGBTQ organizations.
The purpose of the initiative is to evaluate an online mentoring and skill-building program for LGBTQ youth ages 14 to 17.
Traditional scientists have cast doubt on gender studies and gender identity concepts.
Since 2008, the NIH has invested millions of dollars in the study of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.
According to the grant’s description, the project began on July 1 and will end on January 31, 2025.
According to the description of a different grant, they also gave over $200,000 to a Seattle hospital on September 6 to develop a sex education tool for LGBTQ adolescents.
It is unclear whether or not the Administration has put in place policies to protect the minors in question from unwanted advances.
