A congressman’s assertion that an Iranian “mothership” is responsible for the big drones that have been seen flying over New Jersey in recent weeks has now reportedly been refuted by the Pentagon.

Meanwhile, officials in the state are requesting a more robust reaction from the federal government as well as increasing openness in relation to the inexplicable and strange sightings.

A number of big drones of unknown origin have been observed in the night sky over the central and northern regions of New Jersey, including in close proximity to a military facility, since the middle of November through the present day.

The problem was discussed at a meeting that took place behind closed doors on Wednesday morning at the headquarters of the New Jersey State Police.

The discussion was attended by personnel from the Department of Homeland Security.

Several officials who were present at the meeting stated that the meeting was designed to address the matter.

A handout from the Department of Homeland Security that was distributed by Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali, who was present at the meeting, stated that it is still unknown who is flying the drones.

Dawn Fantasia, an assemblywoman from New Jersey who was present at the meeting, stated that there have been reports of anywhere from four to one hundred eighty sightings per night.

According to her, the drones “operate in a coordinated manner” and have not been traced back to hobbyist drones or drones associated with the Department of Homeland Security.

The response from the Department of Homeland Security did not reassure a number of officials, as stated by them after the meeting.

Consequently, in reaction to the drone activity, the Federal Aviation Administration has implemented flight limitations over Picatinny Arsenal, which is located in Morris County, as well as Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, which is located in Somerset County.
