There were two girls and a husband left behind after the brutal murder of a mother and business owner in Florida who was reportedly slain while attempting to stop shoplifters at her beauty supply store.
The incident occurred just a few weeks before Christmas.
Ilson Miriam Kim, 64, was attempting to stop two shoplifters at her Beauty Max business in Jacksonville, Florida, on the evening of December 6th.
However, the shoplifters ran her over with their vehicle, causing her death.
Rudlaff told the publication that there were at least three suspects engaged in the incident; two of them entered the store, and one of them drove the getaway car.
While the third suspect fled on foot, one of the suspects entered the vehicle with the stolen stuff and drove away.
After being struck by the vehicle, Kim was sent to the hospital, but she was unable to recover from her injuries and passed away.
The victim had finally had enough of the theft and decided to take action by running after the suspects, according to Kim’s husband, who stated that the store had already been facing a reoccurring shoplifting problem.
However, a neighboring company owner made the statement that this time, the victim had finally had enough.
Despite the fact that the investigation is still underway, there have been no arrests made.
