An notion that President-elect Trump has reportedly stated his administration might pursue is the potential of the United States annexing Mexico after it has taken control of Canada. Podcaster Joe Rogan has brought up the likelihood of this happening.

“Do you think that they’ll take Canada in to be the 51st or 52nd state, whichever one it is?” Rogan was asked by his guest, comedian Theo Von.

“Here’s what I think, I think we take Canada and then we go right into Mexico,” Rogan said in response.

“Let’s f—— go!” Von responded.

“Everybody keeps sneaking over, how about we just let them stay here. Just like, how about we go into that? How about what I said? How about … instead of trying to, like, let all the bad stuff in, how about we make this like totally lockdown safe and then expand safety? Expand it. But you got to do it without stripping people of their rights.” Rogan said.

Earlier this week, President Trump made comments that irritated Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.

He suggested that the Gulf of Mexico should be renamed the “Gulf of America,” and he has also mulled over the possibility of retaking control of the Panama Canal.

Recently, just a few weeks before the election, Rogan, who is widely considered to be one of the most popular media personalities in the world, conducted an extensive interview with Donald Trump on his podcast.

In the years leading up to the election, he has consistently made attacks on Democrats, mainstream media outlets, and so-called “elites” a regular part of his commentary. He endorsed Trump just before the election.
