President Donald J. Trump has now reportedly announced plans to file a lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Rupert Murdoch, following what he calls the publication of a “fake” and “defamatory” letter allegedly linking him to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The letter, which the Journal claims Trump wrote in 2003 for Epstein’s 50th birthday, has been flatly denied by Trump, who labeled it a political smear orchestrated by “Radical Left Lunatics” and a desperate media empire.

In a sharply worded post on Truth Social, Trump called the letter “a FAKE” and asserted that both NewsCorp owner Rupert Murdoch and Wall Street Journal editor Emma Tucker were warned in advance not to publish it.

“The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued,” he wrote.

Trump claims that despite his legal team’s efforts to alert the Journal, including communications from his spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, the paper proceeded to run with the story.

“Emma Tucker didn’t want to hear that,” Trump said. “Instead, they are going with a false, malicious, and defamatory story anyway.”

The Journal’s article reported that Trump allegedly sent Epstein a lewd note, including a crude drawing of a naked woman, bearing a signature styled to resemble pubic hair, with the message: “We have certain things in common, Jeffrey […] Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.” Trump categorically denied any involvement, stating, “I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women.”

In a follow-up post, Trump intensified his criticism of Murdoch, stating, “I told Rupert Murdoch it was a Scam, that he shouldn’t print this Fake Story.

But he did, and now I’m going to sue his ass off, and that of his third rate newspaper.”

Trump portrayed the report as part of a broader media campaign to damage his political standing ahead of the midterm elections. “If there were any truth at all on the Epstein Hoax, as it pertains to President Trump, this information would have been revealed by Comey, Brennan, Crooked Hillary, and other Radical Left Lunatics years ago,” he said. “It certainly would not have sat in a file waiting for ‘TRUMP’ to have won three Elections.”

The president, who has previously succeeded in defamation suits involving major networks like ABC’s 60 Minutes and CBS, framed this legal action as part of a wider campaign to restore accountability to legacy media outlets. “The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don’t even exist.”

Calling the Wall Street Journal a “disgusting and filthy rag,” Trump accused the paper of abandoning its once respected standards.

With the lawsuit pending, the clash pits a reinvigorated Trump against a faltering corporate media increasingly accused—by critics and insiders alike—of sacrificing journalistic integrity for political expediency.
