Ghislaine Maxwell is now reportedly claiming her long-time boyfriend and convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, was killed in prison and did not in fact commit suicide.
In a phone conversation from a Florida jail, Maxwell, 61, questioned the judgment that Epstein committed suicide in 2019.
Epstein, a rich investor and convicted sex offender, died in his New York City jail cell in 2019 at the age of 66 after being arrested on sex trafficking allegations involving minors.
“I believe that he was murdered. I was shocked. Then I wondered how it had happened because as far as I was concerned, he was going to … I was sure he was going to appeal,” Maxwell said during an interview with Jeremy Kyle of TalkTV.
A New York City medical examiner infamously found that Epstein committed suicide after his death.
Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in jail after being convicted of collaborating with Epstein to sexually assault minor females.
She is currently attempting to appeal her conviction.
