Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) was greeted with a chorus of boos from the spectators during the victory speech of former President Trump on Saturday evening in South Carolina.

A hostile reception awaited the senator, a longstanding ally of Trump, when Trump introduced him on stage after his easy victory over rival Nikki Haley in the Republican presidential primary.

“He doesn’t do too much television. He happens to be a little bit further left than some of the people on this stage. But I always say when I’m in trouble on the left, I call up Lindsey Graham and he straightens it out.” Trump said while introducing him.

Upon assuming the microphone, Graham was met with a resounding round of applause during his succinct remarks.

Since his victory in South Carolina, Trump has now recorded three consecutive victories over Haley.
