Lance Reddick, the actor who rose to prominence with his nuanced and powerful portrayal as Lt. Cedric Daniels in the groundbreaking HBO drama The Wire, has now reportedly passed away. He was 60 years old.

On Friday, the corpse of the actor was found at the residence he shared in Studio City.
