Kari Lake, a Republican politician and journalist, reportedly said on Friday that anyone wishing to bring charges against the former president Donald Trump would have to do so through her and 75 million other Americans, but she also cautioned that many of them were “card-carrying members” of the National Rifle Association (NRA).

“I have a message tonight for Merrick Garland, and Jack Smith, and Joe Biden. And the guys back there in the fake news media, you should listen up as well, this one’s for you.” Lake reportedly said at an exclusive republican event.

“If you wanna get to President Trump, you’re gonna have to go through me, and you’re gonna have to go through 75 million Americans just like me.” she continued.

“And I’m gonna tell you, most of us are card-carrying members of the NRA. That’s not a threat, that’s a public service announcement.” she concluded.

Lake, a vociferous Trump supporter who was reportedly among those Trump was considering as his running mate in 2024, took Pence’s place as the keynote speaker when the former vice president withdrew less than two weeks prior to the convention.

A 37-count indictment against Trump was unveiled by the Department of Justice on Friday.

It was connected to his handling of secret information that he had kept throughout his tenure as president.

  1. The Maro Lago documents were under better control than the random willy nilly scattering of those Biden documents. Docs were planted at Trump’s quarters during the raid. If we ever needed a whistle blower, it is now.
