According to a former top aide to the Clinton family, failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may be preparing to once again compete for the nation’s highest office in 2024, following her latest criticism of President Joe Biden (D).
Political consultant and former Clinton aide Dick Morris made the statements during an interview with John Catsimatidis on his WABC 770 AM radio show on Sunday.
“These are all signals that she is going to be the moderate candidate for president. She’s going to say after the election, ‘See, the left cost us the House and the Senate. If we stay with a left-wing candidate in 2024, we’re going to lose the White House. I’m the only one who will tack to the center and give us a chance at victory.’” Morris claimed during the interview.
The words came as the Biden administration’s policies on the southern border have resulted in a national security and humanitarian disaster, with more than 2.3 million illegal border crossings in the previous 11 months.
Morris said that Ms. Clinton was following in the footsteps of her husband, former President Bill Clinton (D), who ran for politics during his first term, a plan Morris claimed he devised for the previous president.
Morris predicted last week that Democrats will dump Biden in favor of Clinton to avoid having an even more far-left nominee than Biden, which he said would lead the party to be blown out during the election.
“Once Biden pulls out, the polling will show that the Democrats are leaning toward some crazy radical like Gavin Newson, Bernie Sanders. Maybe even AOC herself,” Morris predicted “That’s going to drive the Democratic Party leaders to go to Hillary and say, ‘Hey look. Please run again. We need you to save us from the crazy left.’”
Hillary has kept a relatively low profile since her humiliating loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential election.
