MTG Claims Democrats Are Planning to Have Trump Killed in Jail

Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has now alleged that Democrats have a desire to see Donald Trump meet a violent end while incarcerated.

The conservative legislator expressed her views during a conversation with Infowars host Alex Jones, insinuating that the four legal cases against Mr. Trump, including an ongoing trial where he has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony charges related to alleged secret payments, are a deliberate attempt by his political adversaries to incarcerate the former president until his death.

She mentioned the Democrats are also seeking to remove Mr. Trump’s presidential Secret Service protection in order to achieve their objective.

“They want to lock him up in jail for the rest of his life so that he dies in jail,” she said during her appearance.

“And they want to take away his Secret Service protection so that he is murdered somewhere in jail, possibly. This is how serious they are,” she continued.

Ms. Greene was citing a bill introduced recently by Mississippi Democrat Representative Bennie Thompson, who previously chaired the House January 6 Select Committee.

The law seeks to remove Secret Service protections from former government officials who have been convicted of a felony.

The DISGRACED Act, co-signed by eight other Democrats, mandates the transfer of protective responsibilities from the Secret Service to jail personnel.

Mr. Trump, who is 77 years old, is presently under trial in New York for 34 felony charges of manipulating business documents in an alleged attempt to conceal hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Reportedly, he purportedly provided a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Daniels in October 2016. This payment was made in return for her agreement to remain silent about an alleged romance that the actress said they had in 2006.

Mr. Trump refutes the allegations and disputes all accusations leveled against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
