In light of the continued support that the United States provides for Israel in the midst of its conflict with Hamas in Gaza, filmmaker Michael Moore is now claiming that “more elections” will be lost if Democrats continue to show their support for the Jewish State.
His statement came after President-elect Trump defeated Vice President Harris in the presidential election earlier this month, resulting in the loss of all seven battleground states.
“Democratic senators should know better. And their behavior in supporting this aggression will only cost them more elections. Voters under 45 and people of color combined (making up nearly half the electorate), have no interest in war and would rather our government spend our money on our schools, our elderly, and our broken health care system.” Moore stated.
“Time to cut Bibi off,” he added.
The Republicans were successful in retaining a small majority in the House of Representatives and were able to take the majority in the Senate.
Despite the rising conflict that outraged those on the left who want Israel to withdraw from Gaza and Lebanon, Harris was harshly criticized on the campaign trail for refusing to split with Biden on the war and urge harder action against on Israel, as many leftists wanted.
This was despite the fact that the conflict was still expanding.
Moore has warned Democrats in the past about their support for Israel, stating that it might potentially backfire on them on election day.
Following the discovery of the dead bodies of six hostages by Israel at the beginning of September, Moore stated in his email that Netanyahu had played President Biden “like a sucker.”
In spite of the fact that the activist made fun of the senators who were instrumental in the failure of three resolutions filed by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) that would have prevented the sale of certain offensive weapons to Israel’s military, the activist lauded the 19 members of the upper chamber of Congress who voted in favor of the proposal.
