The White House reportedly hosted a “Roundtable on Affirming Transgender Kids” on Friday as part of its celebration of the so-called “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

The discussion is part of an effort by the administration to embrace and promote transgenderism among children, especially medical changes that occur during transgender surgeries.

This comes after a number of red states passed legislation that restricted access to certain medical treatments.

The experiences of children who identify as transgender and their parents in states that have banned kid sex transitions was the primary topic of discussion at the event.

According to experts in the field, the rates of suicidality among transgender individuals are vastly exaggerated.

Some of these experts believe that an excessive emphasis on the suicide narrative can become a self-fulfilling prophecy that encourages young people with gender identity issues to contemplate suicide.

In addition, research that suggests that the assertion that transsexual medical operations are beneficial to mental health is rife with prejudice, confounding factors, and methodological mistakes.

A study of questionable methodology on measures to help LGBT kids was also published by the White House, as was a new set of guidelines on gender identity inclusiveness in government employment.
