Democratic presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. reportedly attributes his uncle President John F. Kennedy’s murder on November 22, 1963, to the CIA.
During an appearance with John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable” on Sunday, Kennedy made the shocking allegation regarding a murder that has generated several conspiracy theories.
“There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in his murder. I think it’s beyond a reasonable doubt at this point,” Kennedy Jr. said.
“The evidence is overwhelming that the CIA was involved in the murder, and in the cover-up.” he continued.
Kennedy Jr. went on to claim that the book “JFK and the Unspeakable” contained the most convincing arguments for why the agency was involved in the assassination.
The Warren Commission Report, the official inquiry conducted by the US government, came to the conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald committed the murder alone and that there was no proof to support any assassination plot against the 35th president.
The study was made public on September 24, 1964.
For its part, the CIA has continually denied playing any part in the infamous murder.
