An important assertion made by IRS supervisory special agent Gary Shapley, a whistleblower, has reportedly been verified by a retired FBI agent who participated on the Hunter Biden investigation.

In a closed-door hearing on July 17, the anonymous retired FBI supervisory special agent provided testimony to the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

The 65-page transcript of that evidence was made public by the committee on Monday.

The ex-agent corroborated Shapley’s claims that the transition team for President Joe Biden was informed by the FBI that they intended to interview Hunter.

The agency said that the Biden transition team had been informed the night before the scheduled interview, which was set for December 8, 2020.

The Secret Service, who at the time had a detail guarding Hunter, was further forewarned in addition to the transition team.

Although the former agent thought the Secret Service would be informed the morning of the interview, he still considered it was appropriate to let them know that the FBI planned to speak with Hunter.

The former agent was unable to name the exact member of the Biden transition team who was informed.

The former agent claimed that he and Shapley were later given the order to hold off on conducting the interview until Hunter Biden gave them a call, but the contact never materialized and the interview never took place.

Two IRS officials who collaborated with the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) to look into the junior Biden’s finances and international business transactions claim that the DOJ’s inquiry was tainted by politics.

A special prosecutor has now been chosen to pursue the investigation against Hunter Biden after a previously agreed upon plea deal fell through.

  1. I am sure Wray is so concerned about interfering in an investigation by tipping off the suspects that he has a full scale internal investigation going on. Yea right. It was probably him making sure Biden would keep him as director.
