The Biden Administration is reportedly planning to unfreeze $6 billion in Iranian assets in exchange for five Americans who are being held.

According to House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX), this money will be used to support Iran’s “terror operations” and “nuclear bomb aspirations.”

During a “Fox News Sunday” discussion with Fox News anchor Shannon Bream, McCaul made the comments in relation to a number of Middle East-related topics, including the funds the Biden Administration is providing to Afghanistan.

“They are now starting to talk about the JCPOA all over again, which in my judgment, will lead us down a course to a legal nuclear bomb in Iran. Prime Minister Netanyahu came out strongly against this. I think we’re going back to the mistakes of the past.”McCaul said.

“Our special envoy to Iran to negotiate the JCPOA is under investigation for mishandling classified information. He has the most sensitive information as our top negotiator to Iran, and to the Ayatollah, now under investigation for mishandling classified information, very troubling story.” he continued.

According to reports, the administration and Iran have also agreed to exchange prisoners in exchange for the cash.

Once the money has been sent to the Qatari account, the Americans will reportedly be free to depart.

They will allegedly be transported by air to Doha, the capital of Qatar, which played a crucial role in the negotiations for the agreement.
