Elon Musk, whose recent expose of Twitter’s internal messages has revealed the shocking amount of censorship that took place against conservatives before be took control of the company, reportedly took aim at a new target: Dr. Anthony Fauci.
“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci” Musk wrote in a tweet.
So far, the Twitter revelations, delivered in four tweet threads by journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss, as well as author Michael Shellenberger, have primarily focused on Twitter’s decision to suppress the explosive Hunter Biden laptop story just days before the 2020 presidential election.
In addition it also covered the company’s controversial decision to ban former President Donald Trump from the platform.
Musk’s new tweets might indicate that damaging information concerning Fauci, the government virologist who created COVID measures like as school lockdowns, economic shutdowns, and mask and vaccination mandates under two administrations, would be exposed shortly.
Over the previous three years, Fauci’s supporters have raised him to god-like status, with yard signs proclaiming “In Fauci We Trust” and votive candles featuring his picture.
However, a growing chorus of critics blame the octogenarian head of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases and current chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden for blocking an investigation into the possibility that COVID leaked from a Chinese lab where his office had funded dangerous bat virus research, as well as his heavy-handed advice to close schools and businesses during the pandemic.
Fauci is set to retire later this month.
Prior to Musk’s $44 billion purchase of Twitter in October, the site consistently silenced anybody who challenged the Fauci-led government position on COVID.
