This week, the Ukrainian military published footage purportedly depicting its maritime drones engaging in a corvette carrying a Russian missile and submerging it off the coast of Crimea.

Multiple times, the unmanned drones collided with the ship’s exterior and detonated upon impact, erupting enormous fireballs into the night sky, as captured on camera.

As the ship descends toward the conclusion of the video, the bow of the Ivanovets is observed pointing upward toward the sky.

Although the Russian military refrained from confirming the ship’s sinking, a notable Russian military blogger claimed on social media that the vessel had suffered three hits and subsequently sank.

Ukraine has managed to sink a couple of Russian ships during the course of the, now, almost two year long war, including the Moskva, the former flagship of the Black Sea Fleet.
