Johnny Wactor, an actor who was most renowned for his roles in nearly 200 episodes of “General Hospital,” has been killed.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Wactor was gunned down in downtown Los Angeles in what is reported to have been a robbery gone wrong

Wactor’s mother gave an account of the circumstances leading up to his death in a report to TMZ.

She claims that Johnny was with a colleague when they observed three men tampering with Johnny’s vehicle.

Although the identity has not been disclosed by the authorities, this account corresponds with the account of an incident in which three suspects purportedly attempted to take a catalytic converter.

Wactor’s mother claims that she was informed that Johnny did not attempt to resist or obstruct perpetrators; however, the men fatally shot him before departing.

Paramedics arrived at the location shortly after 3 a.m. PT, as indicated by police information.

Once at the hospital, he was declared deceased.

The suspects have so far not been described by the police.

Some of Wactor’s most notable film credits include “The OA,” “NCIS,” “Station 19,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Hollywood Girl.”

Johnny’s fans will recall him for his role as Brando Corbin on ‘GH,’ where he was married to drug addict Sasha Corbin.

He portrayed the character from 2020 until his character was removed from the program in 2022.
